Role Overview


The role of the Resident Services Consultant is like being a sponge: you have to soak in everything (community facts, resident concerns, new initiatives, names, etc.) and then scrub away at any community issues or resident concerns so that your community is a place your residents are proud to call home.


What You Should Know in Advance


  • The work is fast-paced and challenging.
  • You have to rock your people skills, nonstop, every day.
  • Practice saying “How may I assist you?”
  • Time management and organization are critical.
  • You have to be the community guru.
  • If you don’t feel 100%, no one should be able to tell!

Required Knowledge and Experience


  • Minimum of high school degree, some college or degree preferred
  • Prior multifamily / apartment community experience preferred
