As a Part-Time After-School Program Coordinator, you contribute to the community by creating a rewarding and educational after-school experience for children.

 

Roles You'll Play


  

THE ACTIVITY EXPERT

  • Create engaging and entertaining activities for an after-school program at a multifamily apartment home community
  • Show off your passion for working with children as you produce enriching activities as part of the program
  • Enjoy the ability to grow, both personally and professionally, as you take control of the program and make it your own

THE RELATIONSHIP BUILDER

  • Form meaningful connections with parents and the leasing staff
  • Become the go-to person for the kids who live in the community, serving as their mentor and role model
  • Engage with children in elementary, middle, and high school

Your Building Blocks of Success


  • Minimum 1½ years of experience working with school-aged children; camp, community, outreach, parent liaison, or after-school program experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school-aged youth
  • Ability to be physically active with and engage youth
  • Experience with urban settings and diverse populations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
