Role Overview



The Revit Specialist is responsible for coordinating and collecting drawings from outside architectural firms. This role works closely with the designers and architects to generate detailed and accurate drawing while enhancing the function, safety, and aesthetics of each interior designed space.


The Role You'll Play




  • Coordinate and collect drawings from outside architectural firms
  • Work with designers and architects to generate detailed and accurate drawings
  • Enhance the function, safety, and aesthetics of each interior designed space
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and working off sketches from designers
  • Work with the architect to help with scheduling and permitting process
  • Work up schedules to reflect square footage amounts to help with estimating cost on materials
  • Complete DD and CD Set
  • Interior Design Packets to include:
    • Cover page
    • Typical specification information page: paint finishes, transition requirements, ECT
    • Specification page
    • Door and trim schedules
    • Demolition plans
    • Floor plan
    • Space planning
    • Ceiling plans
    • Electrical layouts
    • Flooring details
    • Furniture plans
    • Elevations and sections called out
  • Work and communicate with all designers on renovation and new construction
  • Specify all materials which include: flooring, specialty equipment, appliances, specialized finishes, cabinetry, trim, door and paint schedules
  • Work in paper-space to provide layouts for each job, organize a Revit library of basic furniture, equipment and millwork details
  • Revit Files: system for organizing all Revit Work
  • Work with all parties to ensure knowledge of the most current drawing location



Your Building Blocks of Success



  • Strong Revit experience; solid portfolio
  • Experience with 3D CAD and ADA knowledge advantageous but not required for job
  • Some Travel is required if field measurements are required
