The Investment Intern will report to the Vice President of Asset Management, Investments, and is responsible for quantitative and strategic analysis, modeling, and reporting. Furthermore, the intern will help create reports for distribution to investors and interface with a wide variety of individuals during the life of each project.

The Real Work



  • Develop, conduct and coordinate analyses, reports and presentations to facilitate making important business decisions
  • Create Excel and PowerPoint macros/applications to facilitate ongoing automation initiatives
  • Assist with development, maintenance, and quality assurance of operations database integrations
  • Develop operations technology ecosystem and strategy optimization tools

Required Knowledge and Experience



  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student, or completed a degree in a quantitative or financial discipline
  • Expected graduation prior to June 2018
  • GPA 3.5 or higher
  • Familiarity with accounting and real estate operations
  • Proficiency in the following languages and platforms: VBA, SQL Server/SSIS, Excel, Data Integration, API Integration, ETL, C#
  • Understanding of state-of-the-art machine learning techniques such as neural networks
  • Experience with object-oriented programming, scripting, and data manipulation
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
